Giving Back

Today Band Boy volunteered a few hours at church today.

They put together shower kits to donate to the homeless shelter.

Earlier this week we donated to our schools adopt a family. 

 We were assigned a 3 year old boy named Justin.

Justin likes Elmo.  We bought Elmo PJ's and Slippers.

I wrapped them in a plastic bucket with a lid and put his name on them.

I thought that after he unwrapped his gift he could put treasures in the boxes. :-)  

Today Band Boy got a name off the giving tree at Starbucks. 

He picked a 13 year old boy that would like a book.  

Band Boy thinks he will by Habbot or  Hunger Games. 

I love that he enjoys giving back to those who have less.
