Royal Wedding

Our Princess will not be attending classes tomorrow
due to her very royal invitation.
She will be seated on the right side of the couch.

Just like her Mama

The Smart One has a farmers market near her school.
Once a week she attends and calls us to let us know
how fresh the vegi's are and what type of fruit she bought.
She also picks up flowers once in a while.

Last week she phoned me and said that she saw a
beautiful market basket and can't stop thinking about it.

It's a b.e.a.u.t.y. alright.
I know why she couldn't stop thinking about it.
Just like her Mama - a basket lover!

Easter Sunday

We went to Easter Brunch - (the menu said so)

When we were leaving the restaurant, the hostess let the kids pick an egg!

We were off to the park for an egg hunt.

Princess had on her new easter dress the bunny put in her basket.

The boy and the Smart One decided that they were going to play catch with an egg.

We rested by the lake before heading back home.

This one tried to take Humpty Dumptys egg...

and this one tried to push him over

and this one tried not to fall over.

Although we missed having Easter with our entire family,
our family of 5 had the best Easter Sunday together!

The day before Easter

Since the Smart One had her Spring Break in March,
the father and I decided that we would celebrate Easter all together.

The night before we left, Princess and I baked cupcakes to take with us.

When we got into town we needed to find a hotel room.  (one with inside doors)
Us girls are pickier (is that a word?) than the boys

The kids thought they would get out of dying eggs and a egg hunt since we were not at home.
NO LUCK :-)

It was a lot of fun coloring the eggs and catching up with each other.

Junior Prom 2011

Princess had her Junior Prom on Saturday
We had bought her dress over Valentines weekend when we went to visit the Smart One at college.
It was so much fun curling her curly hair and just the excitement of her getting ready.

The Jersey Girls were going to Jen's house for the Pre-Party Picture Taking.

The After-Party was at our house.

The father was a trooper and cooked a great breakfast and the girls ate every bit of it.

Our Princess took the Smart One as her date to the Prom. :-)

It was a great weekend. You can tell by the smiles.

Groovy

These Groovy girls had 60's day at school.
They got to tie dye their shirts the day before in class.
So happy, So fun...the best of friends!

Junior year - the best of times.

After I saw this picture

I thought that I would window chalk
my princesses car window with a peace sign.
**CAUTION**
do not window chalk a car window before your morning cup of coffee
She called me to let me know that I did not draw a peace sign,
I drew a divided circle.
